Eligibility for GATE

i have done b.tech (biotech). during dis under graduate coarse I have studied more subject related to chemical engg. in 1st yr i have studied whole 1st yr math and i have also maths in 10+2. am i eligible appearing in gate by chemical engg

Hi Vinay

Since you have completed B.Tech, irrespective of branch you are very much eligible to appear in GATE and can give exam by taking any of the papers. The choice of paper is the responsibility of the candidate. The criteria for admission into M.Tech courses are different in various institutes. In most of the engineering colleges the eligibility for admission to M.Tech Chemical engineering is Bachelors degree in Chemical engineering or equivalent with a valid GATE score in Chemical engineering.
